About the author
Ubaid Tahir who belongs to Jammu and Kashmir is a well known Radio personality in Qatar, a graduate in Arabic Literature from Nadwa University Lucknow India. Mr Ubaid speaks many languages and has full command on Arabic as well as Urdu and presents several Radio Programs on Qatar National Radio both in Arabic and Urdu. He has written many articles for Local Arabic Newspapers and hosts Literary sessions on different Government Platforms beside the News Bulletins. He has the honour to be the first person to translate A Qatari Novel into Urdu. Another compilation of Arabic Short Stories is also on his credit which is published in January 2020.
About the book
Zard mousam kai gulab is a novel which portrays the imaginary sketch Of Islamic Arab history of early fourth century of Hijri calendar . It helps readers to get to know about the downfall of Islamic Arab society, spread of social evils and lack of confidence between government and people. The Novelist has been very careful with every possibility to pen down the truth only and to narrate all the situations and incidents in their real scenario. Hope that this effort would be appreciated by literary world and attract critics’ attention too.
