Obaid Tahir who belongs to Jammu and Kashmir is a well known Radio personality in Qatar, a graduate in Arabic Literature from Nadwa University Lucknow India. Mr Ubaid speaks many languages and has full command on Arabic as well as Urdu and presents several Radio Programs on Qatar National Radio both in Arabic and Urdu. He has written many articles for Local Arabic Newspapers and hosts Literary sessions on different Government Platforms beside the News Bulletins. He has the honour to be the first person to translate A Qatari Novel into Urdu. Another compilation of Arabic Short Stories is also on his credit which is published in January 2020.
