Nadeem Mahir is a well-known poet and literary person among Urdu speaking community in Doha-Qatar, he comes from district Buland Shahr in western UP, India and living in Doha since more than two decades. He is working here with Ministry of Interior Affairs. Nadeem Mahir completed his post-graduation course in Islamic-Sunni theology from AMU, Aligarh and inherited the love of art and culture from his parents and teachers.

He serves also as the:

-Vice-president of Anjuman Muhibban e Urdu Hind Doha Qatar

-President of Bazm e Alig, Qatar

Nadeem Mahir has also written several books on different topics along with his poetry collection in the name of "Dastakon ke Nishan". For his outstanding performance in in literary and cultural domain he honored with a number of distinctions and awards from various organizations.
